Milan is Memory. Remembrance Day, the appointments of the President of the City Council Buscemi
Milan, January 24 2022 - Below are the events organized on the occasion of Remembrance Day in which the President of the City Council, Elena Buscemi, will take part.
Tuesday 25 January
At 10 am, at the Asteria center (piazza Carrara 17), he will bring institutional greetings to the students who will attend the performance of “Il Memorioso. A short guide to the memory of the good”. Event organized by the Association for the Garden of the Righteous of Milan - Gariwo.
At 17.30 pm, in the Vitman room at the Civic Aquarium (viale G. Gadio 2), he will attend the initiative "The Porrajmos - Commemoration of the genocide of Roma and Sinti".
At 18.30 pm, at the Shoah Memorial (piazza Edmond Jacob Safra 1), he will bring institutional greetings to the screening of the documentary "1938: Italian sport against the Jews" followed by the round table: "Sport as an antidote to racism". The event is promoted in collaboration with the Jewish Community of Milan, Sky Sport and the Shoah Memorial Foundation.
Wednesday 26 January

Thursday 27 January
11am, online meeting with students from city schools promoted by ANPI, ANED and the Deportation Memory Foundation. Streaming on the Facebook pages of Aned Milano and Anpi Provinciale Milano.
