Milan is memory. Piazzale Loreto massacre, the 77th anniversary ceremony
Milan, August 10 2021 – The commemoration ceremony of the Nazi massacre in Piazzale Loreto, of which today marks the 9th anniversary, was held this morning at 30, in front of the stele commemorating the 15 martyrs.
Deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo was present for the municipal administration: "It is an honor for me – she said in her speech – to wear the sash and represent Milan on this occasion, gold medal for the Resistance, alongside the civil, religious and military authorities citizens and the metropolitan city, together with the ANPI and the partisan associations. Today we remember the 15 martyrs of Piazzale Loreto and we reiterate the commitment of all of us and of this Administration in involving the youngest to make them protagonists and participants in history, to make them happen. so that the memory of the people and values that allowed us to regain our freedom and build a democratic Italy always remains alive."
