STORIES, IMAGES AND VOICES OF THE RESISTANCE
Various cultural proposals can be enjoyed online as part of the Milano è Memoria programme, the platform for events on the memory of the Municipality.

Starting from Friday 24 April, the exhibition "Stories, images and voices of the Resistance", organized by the Municipality, Istituto Parri, ANPI and ANED, Milan is Memory and House of Memory, can be visited virtually at www.milanolibera.it. Historical photographs of the Parri Institute and images of works of art by young artists of the time from the collection of the art critic Mario De Micheli and from the historical artistic heritage of the ANPI.

The exhibition also offers two radio stories made with archive documents that narrate little-known aspects of our Resistance. The first, entitled "Speak, the enemy listens to you", reconstructs the telephone interceptions of the communications of the Nazi-fascist commands by the partisans; the second, entitled “Address: all the houses in Italy. Stories and voices from radio Libertà”, instead recalls the events of Radio Libertà, a clandestine partisan broadcaster active in the Biella area between December 1944 and April 1945, and then subsequently from Biella, now liberated. In this section you will also find other interesting materials including, for example, a playlist of songs taken directly from the partisan broadcaster Radio Nord Ovest in the interpretations of the time.

PARTISANS 2.0
"Partigans 2.0 Freedom is always twenty years old" is the title of the documentary produced by the Associazione Lavorale Storie and Sky Arte, as part of the MemoMI project, and created by 3D Produzioni with the contribution of the Municipality of Milan and the Pasquinelli Foundation , which will be broadcast on Saturday 25th at 21.15pm on Sky Arte and in free live streaming the same day at 15pm and 21pm on https://arte.sky.it/diretta/ and https://video.sky.it/ .

Precious testimonies and historical documents also taken from "La donna nella Resistenza", the documentary filmed in 1965 by Liliana Cavani who was the first to lift the veil of reticence and hypocrisy that had fallen on partisan women, reduced in the collective imagination to red cross nurses, simple assistants, rather than real fighters. "Partigiane 2.0" is a project that also includes the installation of a monument in Piazza Donne Partigiane, the result of a competition held with the architects' association. The placement of the work has been postponed.

THE FUTURE IS AT STAKE
“The future is at stake. 1945 – 2020: the voices of the Resistance, the words for Reconstruction" is the digital initiative of the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation for April 25th. Starting at 9 on the Foundation's Facebook page, readings and interventions by voices from the world of culture, politics and work reflect on the meaning that the 30th anniversary of Liberation Day today can have in terms of reconstruction, to imagine the restart. The future is at stake is the phrase with which Ferruccio Parri closed his speech read at the opening of the Consulta's work on 75 September 26. This text, together with a letter from Leone Ginzburg to his wife Natalia, are the writings taken from his own Heritage which the Foundation has chosen as a starting point to reflect on the meaning of rebuilding. There are many faces that the Foundation has involved to each tell their own sense of reconstruction on this particular date, starting from Parri's words: the historian Gabriella Gribaudi, Pierfrancesco Majorino (European Parliamentarian), the writer and teacher Marco Balzano, and the author of the novel The Color Line Igiaba Scego. At the same time, the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation presents, on the occasion of April 1945, the ebook, "The future is at stake" with writings by Ferruccio Parri and a preface by Gabriella Gribaudi, Filippo Focardi and Raffaella Fittipaldi. Utopie series, free volume.

I REMAIN FREE
On the website www.25aprile2020.it/#iorestolibero you can follow the online event which follows the appeal launched by Carlo Petrini, Liliana Segre and Renzo Piano, and also signed by the Mayor Giuseppe Sala, #iorestolibero, linked to a fundraiser for Caritas and Red Cross.

LET'S TELL THE RESISTANCE
With the hashtag RaccontiamolaResistenza, the Ferruccio Parri National Institute has launched a social campaign that accompanies the month of April, offering documents and productions taken from the network of resistance institutes, but also relaunching themed initiatives and welcoming materials from the public. #RaccontiamolaResistenza will culminate on April 25th in a great virtual event, during which Italy will be retraced like the allies in 1945 with a great relay between the institutes that will tell the dates, characters and stories of the Resistance. Everything will be enriched by clips from exceptional testimonials from the world of culture and entertainment; and by connections with other major national events celebrating the holiday.
