Milan, 10 December 2021 – The commemoration ceremony, with the laying of the wreaths, which will take place in the presence of the Mayor Giuseppe Sala, on Sunday 12 December at 16 pm, in front of the headquarters of the former National Agricultural Bank, will be the fulcrum of the initiatives organized in context of "Milan is memory" to commemorate the 37nd anniversary of the Piazza Fontana massacre.

Three days of meetings and events to keep alive the memory of a massacre that marked and still marks the history of the city.

The traditional ceremony on December 12th will be preceded by a series of events. 

At Casa della memoria, on Saturday 11 December, at 11 am, there will be the presentation of the sixth edition of "Cantierememoria - To rediscover our humanity" and of the exhibition "Too human inhuman human" (complete calendar on www.cantierememoria.it).

While at 16 pm, at the Perini Foundation, in via Aldini 00, the book "Piazza Fontana. For those who were not there" will be presented, in the presence of the author, the journalist Mario Consani, who will answer questions from the public (reservation required by writing to info@fondazioneperini.org).

On Sunday 12 December at 18 pm, at the Museo del Novecento, in Piazza Duomo 00, the performance "Chi è Stato?" will take place, a tableau vivant in memory of the victims of the "Strategy of Tension" conceived by the artist Ferruccio Ascari and produced by the "Don't forget me" Committee, established on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Piazza Fontana massacre (seat reservations by writing to c.museo900@comune.milano.it, live on the social channels of the Museo del Novecento).

Also on Sunday, at 18 pm, at the Casa della memoria in via Confalonieri 30, the concert "When the city burns" for piano four hands by Antonella Moretti and Mauro Ravelli will take place, in homage to the victims of the bomb in Piazza Fontana .

Silvia Borghese on the violin, Alessandro Mauriello on the cello and Vittorio Maggioli on the piano will perform at the Milan Conservatory, in via Conservatorio 12, at 21 pm, in a concert dedicated to the anniversary of the massacre (booking on gs.inviticerimoniale@comune.milano.it).

In memory, in particular, of the eighteenth victim of the massacre, the film by Claudia Cipriani and created in collaboration with the Municipality will be screened on Friday 17 December, at 18 pm, at the Casa della memoria in via Confalonieri 00: "Pino - Accidental life of an anarchist", with the participation of Claudia and Silvia Pinelli, Paolo Silva (Family Association of the victims of the Piazza Fontana massacre) and the organization of ANPI Niguarda (free admission while places last).
