Milan, May 25 2020 – Milano Digital week 2020 starts in digital edition. Over 500 events until Saturday 30 May on the platform www.milanodigitalweek.com.

The opening day program:

At 14pm the virtual ribbon cutting of the event with speeches by:

• Giuseppe Sala – Mayor of Milan (video contribution);
• Roberta Cocco – Councilor for Digital Transformation and Civic Services;
• Paola Pisano – Minister for technological innovation and digitalisation (video contribution);
• Carlo Noseda – President of IAB Italia;
• Carlo Mango – Managing Director of Cariplo factory;
• Nicola Zanardi – President of Hublab;
• Fabrizio Paschina – Executive director of Communications and image of Intesa Sanpaolo;
• Erika Fattori – Brand & communication director of Nexi.

Opening of Milan Digital week 2020 – online edition

At 15pm Lectio Magistralis by Alessandro Rosina, Professor of Statistics and Demography at the Catholic University of Milan entitled "For a restart with the new generations".

At 16 pm the event organized by the Municipality of Milan in collaboration with ANCI entitled "Cities, emergency, restart: the digital response of Italian municipalities", an opportunity to learn about some of the good practices of digital projects created by Italian cities in response to the health emergency. The projects will be available and consultable on the platform.
