Available on Apple and Google stores. Cocco and Tajani: "Another digital innovation to support citizens and traders"

Milan, May 10 2020 – “Home shopping” is also an app. From today it is available for free in the Apple and Google stores, the Milan service helps to find out the nearby shops that make home deliveries.

A simple and intuitive application, developed by the Information Systems and Digital Agenda Department with the contribution of GISdevio, which geolocalizes the commercial establishments that have joined the initiative of the Municipality of Milan, promoted by the Department of Labor Policies, Commerce and Productive Activities.

Currently the exercises on the online platform and on the application there are 826 and the map has already been viewed online over 210 thousand times.

"After the excellent response to the online version, we are bringing the home shopping platform to the smartphones of Milanese people – comment councilor Roberta Cocco (Digital Transformation and Civic Services) and Cristina Tajani (Commerce and Productive Activities) -. Another innovation digital to connect traders and citizens and support them in managing daily life in this period of health emergency". 

The list was born from the collaboration of the Municipality of Milan with the nine municipalities of the city, Confcommercio Milan and its association system, the street associations and the support of the main social streets present in the city.

The map on the app allows you to view the activities in your neighborhood and also shows some information such as the address, contact details, payment and delivery methods (in-house or by carrier) with the related costs or free of charge .
