Milan, May 22 2020 - The Municipality of Milan has arranged for the activation of the Municipal Operations Center (COC) from 14pm tomorrow, Saturday 23 May, at the center in via Drago in order to graduate the activation of the emergency plan. The functional natural risk monitoring center of the Lombardy Region has in fact issued the warning of moderate criticality (orange) for the risk of strong thunderstorms starting from 14 pm tomorrow, Saturday 23 May, and until midnight on Sunday 24 May, and the warning of ordinary criticality (yellow) due to hydraulic risk until 06am on Sunday 24th.

The monitoring of the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and of the radar will therefore be activated by the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Milan and the local police, civil protection and MM water services teams will be alerted.
