Bad weather. Seveso and Lambro, orange alert due to risk of thunderstorms

Milan, July 2 2020 - Given the persistence of an unstable climate, the Natural Risk Monitoring Functional Center of the Lombardy Region has issued a moderate criticality warning (orange) due to the storm residue still present in the Milan basin. In particular, we note a more critical phase during tomorrow, Friday 3 July, with a worsening of the situation in the afternoon.

The Municipality of Milan will consequently activate the Municipal Operations Center (Coc) for monitoring the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and the radar and the local police, civil protection and MM water services teams will be alerted in order to graduate the activation of the emergency plan.
