Bad weather. Seveso and Lambro, orange alert due to risk of thunderstorms

Milan, June 8 2020 - Given the continuation of an unstable climate, the functional natural risk monitoring center of the Lombardy Region has issued a warning of moderate criticality (orange) for hydraulic risk due to the storm residue still present in the Milan basin, in particular starting from midnight today, Monday 24 June. The alert remains open for tomorrow, Tuesday 8 June.

The Municipality of Milan will consequently activate the Municipal Operations Center (COC) for monitoring the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and the radar and the local police, civil protection and MM water services teams will be alerted in order to graduate the activation of the emergency plan.
