Bad weather. Heavy rain, orange alert for Seveso and Lambro

Milan 9 June 2019 - The Regional Weather Center has issued a moderate alert (code orange) for the passage of a disturbance over the Milan basin which foresees widespread rainfall, including local thunderstorms. The most intense phenomena are expected starting from 12pm tomorrow, Monday 10 June. The ordinary alert (code yellow) has been confirmed for today, starting from 18pm and until 9am tomorrow.  
The Municipality has therefore confirmed the activation, already arranged on Saturday 8 June, of the Coc, the Municipal Operations Centre, starting from 18 pm today at the headquarters in via Drago to graduate the activation of the emergency plan and the Seveso and Lambro rivers they remain under special surveillance. Monitoring of hydrometric levels and radar is activated by the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Milan. The Civil Protection, Local Police and MM teams were also alerted. AIPO was also alerted to define the possible activation of the Palazzolo spillway.
