Bad weather. The Seveso and Lambro rivers monitored, the COC activated from 18pm
Milan, August 6 2019 - The Lombardy Regional Weather Center has issued an alert (code yellow) in the area of the Milan hydraulic hub due to the risk of strong thunderstorms and hydraulic risk starting from 18pm on Tuesday 6 August.
The Municipality has therefore arranged for the activation of the Municipal Operations Center (COC) from 18 pm, at the center in via Drago of the Municipality of Milan, in order to graduate the emergency plan. Furthermore, the monitoring of the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and the radar by the Municipality's Civil Protection are activated. The local police patrols and the MM water service teams are alerted to come into service in case of need.
