Bad weather. Seveso and Lambro rivers, the COC activated from 18pm on Sunday 14 July
Milan, July 13 2019 - The Lombardy regional weather center has issued an alert (code yellow) in the area of the hydraulic hub of Milan due to the risk of thunderstorms and strong winds starting from 18.00 pm tomorrow, Sunday 14 July 2019. In the second part of tomorrow, in in particular, the weather will become increasingly unstable with the first isolated showers or thunderstorms possible as early as the afternoon and a worsening expected until Monday.
The Municipality has therefore arranged for the activation of the COC from 18.00 pm tomorrow, at the Via Drago Center of the Municipality of Milan, in order to graduate the emergency plan or the monitoring of the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and of the radar care of the Municipality's Civil Protection. The Local Police patrols, the MM water service teams and the Amsa teams are alerted to come into service in case of need.
