Milan, November 22 2019 - The Municipality of Milan has ordered the activation of the Municipal Operations Center (COC) starting from midnight today, Friday 24 November. The provision follows the criticality notice (yellow alert) issued by the functional natural risk monitoring center of the Lombardy Region which concerns the area of ​​the Milan hydraulic hub. In fact, an intensification of the showers that are already affecting the area is expected starting from the late evening and throughout the night. Monitoring of the levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers will therefore be started and the activation of the Civil Protection teams, MM Water Service and local police patrols will be arranged.
