Bad weather. Orange alert for risk of thunderstorms, Seveso and Lambro monitored
Milan, June 6 2020 - The Natural Risk Monitoring Functional Center of the Lombardy Region has issued an orange (moderate) criticality warning starting from midnight today for hydraulic, hydrogeological and strong thunderstorm risks due to the residue of the disturbance which also remains in the Milan basin and which could lead to persistent phenomena even tomorrow, Sunday 7 June.
The Municipality of Milan will consequently activate the Municipal Operations Center (Coc) for monitoring the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and the radar and the local police, civil protection and MM water services teams will be alerted in order to graduate the activation of the emergency plan.
