Bad weather. Orange alert for risk of thunderstorms, Seveso and Lambro monitored
Milan, September 18 2021 - The Functional Natural Risk Monitoring Center of the Lombardy Region has issued an orange criticality warning for strong thunderstorms starting from 21pm today until 19pm tomorrow, Sunday 19 September.
The yellow alert has also been issued for hydrogeological risk from 21pm this evening to 21pm tomorrow and for hydraulic risk from midnight until 21pm tomorrow 19 September.
The Municipality of Milan will consequently activate the Municipal Operations Center (Coc) for monitoring the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and the radar and the local police, civil protection and MM water services teams will be alerted in order to graduate the activation of the emergency plan.
