Milan, June 25 2021 - The progress of work on the M4 line has made it possible to significantly reduce the construction site and return to the city, starting today, a part of Piazza Frattini.

This is a temporary arrangement but which still allows citizens to use various spaces.

Hence the creation of green areas, pedestrian paths, a dog area and a space paved with thickened gravel which can also be used for small events. 

Transparent partitions were positioned along the remaining construction site to reduce the visual impact.

Today, Friday 25 June, from 18pm to 30pm, the Municipality of Milan and Municipality 21 have organized a moment of celebration to "reopen" the new Piazza Frattini together. The councilor for Mobility Marco Granelli and the president of Municipality 30 Santo Minniti will be present.

We remind you that upon completion of the works for the construction of the M4 Frattini Station, scheduled for the end of 2023, Piazza Frattini will be enriched with new spaces. After the work of recent years necessary to build the new Milan metro, the municipal administration wanted to imagine various improvements, increasing the greenery and spaces available to the neighborhood, with ping pong tables, two dog areas, an area games, a space equipped to experiment with climbing, many trees and many benches. And from today on the construction site it will be possible to discover in detail how the square will become.
