Milan, 15 April 2021 - Registry office: the issuing of certificates in tobacconists begins. There are 32 tobacconists located in different neighborhoods of the city ready to offer citizens the possibility of requesting one of the 14 available registry certificates, at a maximum cost of 2 euros.
This agreement is part of the panorama of initiatives to experience the city 15 minutes away and follows the one signed just under a year ago with the newsstands, which has already allowed the issuing of over 67 thousand certificates.

Social policies: Two notices published for the support of the most vulnerable categories.
 • The public notice for the mobility support dedicated to people with disabilities. Individuals in possession of a certified disability greater than 73%, who cannot use public transport, will be able to request a contribution for transport costs, linked to justified needs, as long as the family unit has an ISEE of up to 40 thousand euros.

• The public notice for the annual disbursement of the size B2, intended for people with disabilities or in any case in a condition of non-self-sufficiency, with a socio-health ISEE of up to a maximum of 25 thousand euros for adults or an ordinary ISEE of up to a maximum of 40 thousand euros in the case of minors. The measure provides for a series of support and support interventions for the person and their family to guarantee full permanence at home and in their living context.

In both cases it will be possible to receive information and assistance in completing the application by making an appointment at the WeMi spaces and submit the request online by May 13th.


#STEMintheCity 2021: starting with a busy calendar of free events. The event will take place throughout the month of April and will culminate in the STEM Marathon on 21-22-23 April, three days dedicated to the promotion of technical-scientific subjects with meetings, interviews and online training courses. 
The initiative, now in its fifth edition, is open to all ages with meetings and testimonies to inspire especially the younger ones on the topics of science, technology, engineering and mathematics and was launched by the Municipality of Milan in collaboration with important realities of the public and private sector and with the support of the United Nations, to promote both access to courses and studies in the STEM field, and the diffusion of new digital technologies as positive factors for an inclusive society without gender stereotypes.
