The news of the week

Milan, 20 September - Area C: some access bans postponed. Until the end of the health emergency, entry into the ZTL is permitted for Euro 2 petrol passenger vehicles, Euro 3 and 4 diesel vehicles with standard DPF, Euro 0 to 4 diesel vehicles with after market DPF, and Euro 5 diesel vehicles.
The postponement of the limitations, initially scheduled for 1 October, is the coherent consequence of all the exceptional provisions adopted to counter the effects of the pandemic on city mobility, including the 80% quota of capacity on public transport and the adoption of the most recent Pact for the safe resumption of school activities.
In line with the interventions to guarantee a lower environmental impact, calls for tenders to support the purchase of less polluting vehicles also continue. Incentives also provided for the purchase of electric motorbikes or scooters.
