Milan, 16 August 2021 - Welfare: a handbook to ensure that minors are creators and evaluators of the projects dedicated to them. Encouraging the involvement of children and young people to build proposals that are increasingly tailored to their real needs, this is the objective that the municipal administration has set itself: the departments of Education and Social Policies, with the collaboration of the Guarantor of Rights for childhood and adolescence, they shared a guide to support the offices that will deal with tenders for the use of economic resources (the investment forecast is 13,8 million euros). Attention was focused both on some operational aspects linked to specific scores and reward mechanisms for those who encourage the active participation of boys and girls, and on the promotion of youth volunteering.

Food aid: 5 million and 893 thousand euros arriving to support people in difficulty due to the Covid-19 emergency. Based on the transfers provided for by the 'Sostegni-bis' decree, the Municipality of Milan will be able to allocate new funds for needy families.
The Administration will act in continuity with what has been done so far through the numerous Food Policy projects. The plan for the distribution of state resources includes: the allocation of 700 thousand euros in favor of third sector bodies, 3 million and 1 million and 393 thousand euros intended for the provision of contributions and shopping vouchers, 500 thousand euros for the launch of an initiative to distribute hot meals through solidarity canteens; finally, 300 thousand euros will be reserved for extra supplies for the most critical periods.

Citizen's file: new functions on the municipal app for a city that is increasingly just a click away. An important update of the application is available in the main stores which will make not only the services relating to personal information, certificates, appointment bookings at municipal offices, viewing of mobility passes or infringement notices accessible from the smartphone. Now you are also given the option to make online payments (Tari, school fees or infringement notices), to consult maps of useful services in the city and to enter your digital address, through which you can receive notifications of administrative and tax documents from of the Administration.
The app works on mobile devices (tablets and cell phones) with iOS and Android operating systems. Free downloads and services provided.
