Instruction. From November 9th the open days of the Civico Polo Manzoni

The entrance tests are on December 17th. Galimberti: “Increasingly an excellence in the Milanese panorama, as this year's Eduscopio data also confirms”

Milan, November 7 2019 – The Civico Polo Manzoni opens its doors to make itself known on 9 and 30 November, from 10 am, for the Linguistic High School and on 23 and 30 November, again from 10 am, for the Technical Economic Institute (ITE).

“We are really proud of the results that Polo Manzoni, the only civic high school in the city, continues to achieve – comments Councilor for Education Laura Galimberti –. This year, according to data published by Eduscopio, Linguistics has gone from third to second position among those that best prepare one to face the university path, with over 72% of students reaching the diploma without failing, and the ITE is the third in terms of employment rate of graduates. Data that confirms that it is a true excellence in the Milanese panorama."

The Centre, which hosts over a thousand students, shows particular attention to training during the first two years, a period during which it is necessary to acquire a solid study method. In fact, in the first and second year, additional hours are foreseen at the end of the lessons: the recovery desks for some subjects - mathematics, Italian, foreign languages and Latin - are dedicated to students with greater difficulties, who are called by the teachers and can so take advantage of targeted lessons.

Finally, just two weeks ago, Professor Michela Polacco, Polo teacher and ITE coordinator, ranked first, winning the gold medal for Chinese language teaching, in the seventh skills competition in Italy and San Marino . While the announcement was made in September that from the 2020/2021 school year the possibility of studying Russian will also be introduced as a second foreign language (English - Russian - French language pairing).
