Titles. A park for Sandra and Raimondo and a square for Anna Magnani
Anna Magnani Square - Sandra and Raimondo Park
Milan, September 6 2021 – Two places in the city, in the heart of the Adriano district, in Municipality 2, have been named after Sandra Mondaini and Raimondo Vianello and Anna Magnani respectively.
The plaque dedicated to Mondaini and Vianello, who passed away in 2010 and were one of the most famous couples in Italian entertainment for over half a century, gives a new name to the park between via Tognazzi and via Tremelloni.
While the square adjacent to via Ugo Tognazzi, between via Vipiteno and via Marcello Mastroianni, has been named in memory of Anna Magnani, a great Italian actress and winner of an Oscar, who passed away in 1973. The naming was promoted by the residents of Municipality 2.
