Titles. The Gianni Sassi promenade inaugurated at Citylife
Milan, March 14 2023 – The "Gianni Sassi Walk" was inaugurated today in the Citylife park, in the presence of the Councilor for Culture Tommaso Sacchi.
Gianni Sassi was an avant-garde publisher, photographer, intellectual and advertiser. In 1972 he founded Cramps records, an independent label that had the aim of promoting the most avant-garde artists who were unable to find space in the traditional recording circuit.
Over the years, Cramps has published albums by Eugenio Finardi, Franco Battiato, Lucio Fabbri, John Cage, Alberto Camerini, Walter Marchetti and numerous other musicians.
