Also in the running are Cracco's Felix, Chanel and Damiani. Tasca: “An excellent signal for Milan”

Milan, May 4 2021 - There are five operators who have submitted offers to the tender for the assignment of concessions of as many historic lots of the monumental complex of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Among the brands interested in the tender, which now moves to the next phase with the examination of the economic offers, Carlo Cracco's Felix and the Chanel and Damiani brands stand out.

“The interest in the Gallery is returning and it is an excellent signal for Milan – states the councilor for State Property, Roberto Tasca –. Today's news of the interest of some important economic operators in occupying the spaces left vacant in the monumental complex, even on the upper floors, means that despite the still ongoing pandemic there is a climate of confidence in the future, starting from the Living Room Milanese which with the calls for tenders carried out in recent years has been completely relaunched".

Carlo Cracco, already present in the Galleria with his restaurant, is racing to win the 276 m2 lot on the second floor of via Silvio Pellico 376, but also for the space left free by the Pavarotti restaurant on the upper floors of the Galleria (21 m19). The Damiani jewelery shop is competing for the same premises and has also submitted an offer for the former Diurno Cobianchi. The ancient salon located under the Gallery is also of interest to Chanel. The only offer for the prestigious Sala dell'Orologio and its terrace, which stands out over the entrance to the Gallery and overlooks Piazza Duomo, is that of Duomo 21 srl. For the premises in Piazza Duomo XNUMX-XNUMX of approximately one thousand mXNUMX is Mi -Room srl to have participated in the tender.
