Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery. Tender notice for the former Dutti premises

Tasca: "This auction is important to fully understand the city's economic prospects." Starting price of 3 million euros annual rent

Milan, May 31 2021 – There will soon be a new public tender for the assignment of the premises of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II left empty after the cancellation of the rental contract by Massimo Dutti Srl.

This was established by a resolution of the Council which introduces the guidelines for carrying out the auction. These are three windows on five levels overlooking the main arm of the "Salotto", for a total of 956 square meters. The starting price for the annual rent is 3 million euros.

"The process of valorising the spaces in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II does not stop and no shop will remain with its shutters down – says the councilor for State Property, Roberto Tasca –. The latest tenders in chronological order have shown the reactivation of great interest by economic operators who want to have a showcase in the living room of the Milanese. It means that symbolically the Gallery is still the most attractive place in the city and that there is a desire for recovery that is affecting the entire city of Milan".

The tender commission will be asked to evaluate the economic and technical offers which will be assigned respectively up to a maximum of 60 and 40 points out of a total of one hundred. The elements of evaluation of the technical offer must take into account that the spaces in question are located in the most representative place of the city.

Prestigious product proposals that represent the best of the Made in Italy and international tradition will be evaluated with higher scores.
