Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery. Assigned the Clock Room and the Cobianchi Space

Five lots were awarded after the public interest procedure. Tasca: “Route that relaunches some historical places and respects the economic valorisation requirements”

Milan, July 23 2021 - The five lots relating to the same number of empty spaces in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II have been provisionally assigned. In recent months the Municipality had published the notice for expressions of interest, including the Sala dell'Orologio and the Cobianchi.

“A process started months ago which returns some historical spaces of the monumental complex to the city is coming to completion - states the councilor for State Property, Roberto Tasca -. The management and relaunch projects of the premises that had remained empty respect the economic valorisation path that this Council has undertaken for the premises of the Gallery through the publication of the tenders and provide for a restructuring to be paid by the assignees which will increase their real estate value".

The Duomo 21 company will manage the rebirth of the Clock Room, with its splendid terrace on the main door of the Gallery, with an annual fee of 491 thousand euros and 1,6 million euros of planned investment.
The Cobianchi space was instead assigned to the Damiani company for 1,3 million euros in annual rent with the commitment to carry out restoration work worth 1,8 million euros.
Two spaces on the upper floors, measuring 267 m367 and 119 m40.500 respectively, were assigned to Carlo Cracco's Felix srl with an annual rent of XNUMX thousand euros and XNUMX euros.
Finally, the premises with entrance in Piazza Duomo 19-21 will be managed by Mi-Room for an annual rent of 456 thousand euros and 653 thousand euros of investment costs.
