Food policy. Deputy mayor Scavuzzo at the presentation of the guidelines for the sustainability of university food systems on Thursday
Milan, November 30 2022 – Tomorrow, Thursday 1 December, at 9 am at Sala Arena di Cariplo factory in via Bergognone 30, the Municipality of Milan and the Cariplo Foundation will present the guidelines for the sustainability of university food systems.
The guidelines are the result of the work of a group of experts in which Milanese universities took part, focusing on strategies and good practices in the management of university catering. Through a mapping of the collective catering system of the main Milanese universities it was possible to identify the most relevant needs and critical issues for the various subjects involved.
The presentation of the guidelines will be attended by deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo, delegate for Food policy, with Carlo Mango, Director of the Research area of the Cariplo Foundation, and representatives of the universities involved in the initiative such as the University of Milan, the Polytechnic, the Catholic University of the Sacred heart, University of Milan Bicocca, University of Pavia, Bocconi University and ATS.
