Food policy. Thursday 15th the inauguration of a new Hub against food waste in the Gallarate area
Milan, July 14 2021 - The inauguration of a new Neighborhood Hub against food waste will be held tomorrow, Thursday 15 July, at 18 pm in via Appennini 50, a center for the collection and redistribution of food surpluses to which are added new services dedicated to the most in difficulty. The initiative follows those already launched in the Isola and Lambrate districts.
The inauguration will be attended by the deputy mayor with responsibility for food policy Anna Scavuzzo, the councilor for social and housing policies Gabriele Rabaiotti, the president of Municipality 8 Simone Zambelli, the general secretary of the Milan Foundation Rocco Giorgianni, the president of Terre des Hommes Donatella Vergari , the General Director of the Cariplo Foundation Sergio Urbani, the scientific director of the Food Sustainability Observatory of the Milan Polytechnic Marco Melacini and the President of the Assolombarda food group Laura Ferrari.
