The exhibition of four young photographers who tell an unpublished side of Oman can be visited free of charge until 14 February, on the occasion of the International Tourism Exchange.

Milan, 5 February 2020 – The images of four Italian photographers – Umberto Coa, Nicolò Panzeri, Vanessa Vettorello and Serena Vittorini – illustrate the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of the exhibition “YOUNG – a new Omani generation”, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan and can be visited free of charge from 5 to 14 February, from 11am to 30pm, in the Column Hall of the Steam Factory.

The images taken by Parallelozero photographers show an unprecedented side of Oman, captured during a photographic journey that lasted two weeks: three thousand kilometers of roads traveled and dozens of encounters thanks to the help of Al Koor Tourism guides. The result is a young and authentic portrait of Oman through the smiles, the open and proud looks, the embrace of young athletes, artists and chefs, teachers, designers and Omani musicians.

Conceived by the Ministry of Tourism of Oman together with the photographic agency Parallelozero and presented in preview, in November, at five prestigious photographic schools (IED of Turin and Milan, Officine Fotografie of Milan, the IFSCI of Rome and the Studio Marangoni Foundation of Florence) the “YOUNG – a new Omani generation” project offers an unprecedented interpretation of the culture, economy, sport and nature of the Sultanate.
