A weekend at the Montanelli Public Gardens to have fun learning good food, environmental, digital, musical, motor and behavioral practices

Milan, May 29 2019 - After last year's great success, which earned him the award for best 'educational' event at the Best Event Awards, he returns to Milan "Esselunga KidsPark®”, the project dedicated to the education of school-age children and their families, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan and Siae. An outdoor weekend, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June, at the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens (entrance from via Palestro), during which children will be able to have fun and learn respect for others, nature and good practices related to food education , environmental, digital, musical, motor and behavioral, thanks to the various workshops and games offered by the numerous partners of the event, which this year has the title "Education can change the future". 

“We are happy to see the second edition of this interesting initiative realized – comments Education Councilor Laura Galimberti –. It is a project full of games, workshops and moments of sharing, capable of creating important growth opportunities for children, teenagers and families, to learn while having fun and moving freely in nature. We hope that the project can be repeated in the coming years, perhaps involving parks in other neighborhoods of the city."

 “There are many new features this year – explains Andrea Zanetti, managing director of Mirata, the company behind the project – starting from two new thematic areas dedicated to digital and environmental education, topics of great relevance, both for children and for their parents, which will be explored together with the prestigious partners of the project and with an even stronger support from Esselunga, which, fully sharing its values ​​and objectives and having fully sponsored it, will enrich the area of ​​food education by promoting the consumption of fruit and vegetables towards children."

We believed in this initiative aimed at families and we wanted to give our contribution by focusing on a topic that is very dear to us: correct nutrition. Esselunga is committed to raising public awareness of the benefits of healthy eating and in recent weeks we have launched the Superfoodies project, our new collectible characters in the shape of fruit and vegetables. A fun way to introduce children, but not only, to these products."

Participation in “Esselunga KidsPark®” is completely free and registration takes place directly at the entrance to the gardens. For some workshops it is possible to register in the previous days via the facebook/kidsparkmilano page (where you can also find the complete program of activities) or on eventbrite.it.
