Education. Labzerosei, the new project dedicated to boys and girls aged 0/6 and their families
By the summer doors will open at the Trotter park in the new experimental space; from this weekend workshops dedicated to children

Milan, May 4 2023 - An experimental space of innovation in the educational and cultural field dedicated to boys and girls from 0 to 6 years old. The spaces are almost ready for 'LABZEROSEI', which will enrich the educational offer for the little ones starting from the end of June in the Ex Cucine pavilion of the Trotter Park whose renovation was possible thanks to an investment by the Municipality of almost 900 thousand euro, and a European REACT-EU loan of 1,3 million euros in favor of the Municipality of Milan which allowed both the setting up of the space and the assignment of the activities to be carried out within it.
The winner of the design and implementation of the proposal for the little ones was the ATI made up of MUBA-Children's Museum Milan, COMIN, University of Milan Bicocca (Department of Human Sciences for Education), Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan (CREMIT) and BAMBINI Bicocca SRL, with the coordination of the Education Directorate of the Municipality of Milan.
"We want to strengthen the educational offer in the city also by combining municipal resources with European funding: this is how LABZEROSEI was born - underlines the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Education Anna Scavuzzo - which sees realities of excellence in the educational and teaching field giving new life to the former kitchens of the Trotter Park, with an innovative proposal dedicated to the little ones and their families. It starts with the weekends in May, then once the works are finished, even more events and educational experiences will be offered which will be a wonderful summer opportunity for the little ones" .
Already in recent weeks, while awaiting the opening of the space at full capacity for the summer, workshops dedicated to the boys and girls of the nursery schools, spring sections and nursery schools of the Municipality of Milan have been carried out directly in the services. Starting from this weekend and for every weekend in May, free cultural, educational and workshop activities will be offered within the Trotter Park, open to families and boys and girls.

It will be precisely the activities that have already started widely in the city and which will find a place within the 'LABZEROSEI' space by the summer, that will make this project so innovative. Here, in fact, there will be space for educational and workshop proposals aimed at girls and boys, training courses, conferences and proposals for adults which will focus on the experimentation of educational and cultural courses that intertwine different languages such as the languages of science, art, digital , music, nature. The 'LABZEROSEI' proposal will be completed and enriched with an artistic and cultural program for children and their families which will range from visual to performing arts. The program is made up of local micro events and two large participatory festivals of city relevance which aim to disseminate and enhance the research and experimental work of LABZEROSEI.
