"We are experiencing days of absolute extraordinaryness that are affecting the entire country - explained the Councilor for Education Laura Galimberti in a letter sent to the principals - and precisely for this reason the Municipality of Milan believes it must meet educational needs" , given that "today's situation presents us with the need to rethink the methods of providing some of the school services that contribute to the educational success of our pupils".
Hence the decision to authorize the home interventions of the educators, on the basis of the peculiar characteristics of the individual pupil, agreeing in advance the intervention with the family, with the support teacher and with the educator and following the development of a specific temporary educational plan.

The interventions may be activated within the limits of the budgets previously assigned to the individual schools, in compliance with the indications of the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of last March 4 and of the service assignment contract that the school has signed with the accredited body that is deals with educational assistance.

“The prolonged period of suspension of lessons - concluded the councilor - must not prevent us from continuing to take care of the most fragile children and young people who attend our schools.
