Milan, 21 April 2021 – The works in the lower secondary school in via Pisacane, in the Porta Venezia area, have been completed, which included the complete safety of the facades, the shatterproofing of the building and the gym, as well as the refurbishment of the armored doors with anti-panic devices. The scaffolding, once dismantled, will be removed by the end of the week by the company, which will also complete the final finishes on the ground floor.

The works, which started last March, had to immediately stop due to the health emergency caused by Covid-19. However, the company managed to make up for lost time and complete them on the scheduled date.

The overall cost of the intervention, which also includes the work to prevent the nursery and nursery from collapsing which will start this summer, when they will no longer be frequented by children, is just over 930 thousand euros.

"The lessons continued for the entire duration of the intervention – explains the councilor for school buildings Paolo Limonta – but the boys and girls and their teachers had to suffer the inconvenience that the work on the facades entailed. I am sure that seeing their refurbished school has repaid them for their patience.
