Milan, May 19 2021 – Work has been completed on the school in via Moscati which houses a primary and a lower secondary school. In recent days, the scaffolding across the entire façade was removed, bringing the school back to light, which underwent a conservative renovation costing 5 million euros.

Started in February 2019, the intervention involved the renovation of the facades, roofing and bathrooms, as well as the replacement of the windows and doors. Added to this were the painting of the classrooms and corridors and the revision of the internal windows and doors.

The company now still has a few days to complete the small finishing works and to free the courtyard from the now dismantled scaffolding.

"The works respected the scheduled times and gave us a renovated building that retains its original character – explains the councilor for school buildings Paolo Limonta –. The conservative restoration of the building, as requested by the Superintendency, has made it safe the school without altering the current conditions and preserving the signs left by history and time, which are part of the experience of the building. Like the chimney, used for the old heating system, which now stands out in the courtyard".
