Conte: “Per gli spazi ex ISAP lieto fine dopo una lunga attesa”

Milan, November 12 2021 – L’assegnazione dell’immobile di piazza Castello 3 a UPEL - Unione Provinciale Enti Locali - viene formalizzata dopo che la procedura ad evidenza pubblica, aperta sulla base della manifestazione d’interesse presentata al Comune e scaduta lo scorso 28 ottobre, è andata deserta.
With the assignment of the property, the new concessionaire will take charge of the renovation of the premises and will guarantee the custody of all volumes relating to the book heritage of the Institute for the Science of Public Administration (ISAP).

“It was a long wait but the happy ending has arrived – comments the councilor for State Property Emmanuel Conte -. In recent years the Administration has repeatedly attempted to enhance the spaces through public procedures, without success. It wasn't easy and for this reason we are happy to be able to follow up on the valorization project proposed by UPEL, already approved by the Superintendency and perfectly in line with the orientation expressed at the time by the City Council. For the Administration, a double objective is achieved: the valorisation of the real estate assets and the protection of a library of great value".

The association will bear the entire cost of property redevelopment, for a total cost of the works estimated at 125 thousand euros.

The valorisation of the Vittorio Emanuele II gallery also continues. In fact, a new tender opens (auction open until 13 January 2022) for the spaces currently occupied by Bric's.
L’unità immobiliare, che si trova nell’asse centrale della galleria e ha due vetrine,  ha una superficie complessiva di 249 mq e per ottenerla bisognerà fare un’offerta superiore alla base d’asta pari a 722mila euro all’anno. Essenziale sarà anche, come sempre per le gare del sito monumentale, la qualità della proposta progettuale.
