State property. The Municipality sells unbuildable land in the former Fair area for 590.000 euros

Milan, September 15 2022 – The Municipality of Milan has awarded at auction for 590.000 euros three pieces of land it owns, unbuildable and restricted, now used as a car park between Viale Scarampo, Via Paolo Uccello and Via Madruzzo, in the Portello area.

The areas, put up for tender on 30 June, were awarded to Fiera Milano, provisionally awaiting ratification of the outcome of the auction. The public session of the tender commission took place this morning in the offices of the Heritage Area in via Larga.

The buyer, the only participant, offered 260.000, 200.000 and 130.000 euros respectively for the three lots, with a raise of approximately 10% on the starting prices (set at 230.000 euros, 184.000 euros and 120.000 euros).

It is a strip of two vacant lots, part of a large area used for public parking, and a third surface now used as a private parking area.

The three lots fall within the "Portello Project" program agreement: two are identified in the Municipality's Service Plan as parking spaces; the third, as a primary urbanization work, is intended for the creation of a cycle-pedestrian connection and public transit path between Via Madruzzo and the M5 Portello metro station, which the buyer undertakes to create.

None of the lots generate volumetric rights and all are burdened by a constraint of absolute non-buildability on the surface, while construction underground is permitted.
