State property. The sale of the building in Largo Treves has been concluded
Milan, 10 December 2021 – The Municipality of Milan concluded this morning, with the signing of the deed, the sale of the property in Largo Treves 1, to the Stella company RESrl.
The Town Hall of 4.366 m2, which until this spring was the headquarters of the department of social policies, was sold for 52,7 million euros last May, after an auction with 30 bids which doubled its value.
"What we have taken today – declares the Councilor for Budget and Real Estate Emmanuel Conte – is a further step towards the valorisation of the city's real estate which also allows us to conclude a virtuous operation of recovery of existing buildings which involves the Municipality – which, by moving one of its offices to via Sile, has carried out an important redevelopment - and the private sector which will invest to renovate the spaces in Largo Treves. A fundamental path also for the rebirth of the neighborhoods on which the administration has focused a lot" .
