State property. Municipality of Milan offers Art Nouveau villa on Lake Como for sale

Milan, 26 December 2022 - The Municipality of Milan is putting up for sale an Art Nouveau villa in Cerano d'Intelvi, on Lake Como, which it has owned since 1934. The starting price is one million and 84 thousand euros. The announcement, published by Palazzo Marino, is open until February 20th.

The building, designed as a holiday residence, dates back to the early twentieth century and was purchased by the Municipality of Milan for 100 thousand lire. With three floors, with a basement and a surface area of over 850 square metres, it stands on a large sloping area of around 1.800 square metres, with an appurtenant garden and an outbuilding with garage. Terraces with panoramic views, stone steps, decorated ceilings, terrazzo and terrazzo floors are some of the original elements for which it has been declared of historical and artistic interest.
