State property. Announcement for disused farmhouses: two months to present recovery proposals

Public notice for the third implementation notice of the Municipal Council Resolution no. 1521 of 30/12/2020Monitoring and valorisation of disused and municipally owned assetsDisused municipal heritage

Milan, 22 December 2021 – Cascina Monlué and the "Corte della Mariuccia", the "Cort del Colombin" and the ancient rural complex of via Campazzino 90: these are some of the eight disused places of the heritage of the Municipality of Milan for which, in the next two months, a valorisation proposal can be presented.

The notice published by the municipal administration is aimed at both individuals and bodies and associations. There are eight lots for which concessions in surface rights or in use are envisaged and, in one case, the transfer of full ownership: Cascina Monlué, Cascina Ortelli in via Rizzardi, Cascina Cort del Colombin in via Lampugnano, the area of via Breda 88, another in via Valgardena, Cascina Molino Spazzola in via Vittorini, the courtyard complex in via Campazzino 90 and finally via Chiesa Rossa 275.

The Administration began the process of valorising these disused assets in June last year, with a public notice to collect expressions of interest for 25 properties it owns. For some, more proposals were received, with one considered more qualified than others, and on the basis of these the tenders for the eight lots are now being launched. Among the proposals received: a craft brewery and training activities for the recovery of arts and crafts at Cascina Monlué, horse therapy in via Rizzardi, a "Citadel of charity" in via Campazzino.
Bids must be submitted by February 24th.

"We base the tender on the minimum and improvable elements of the most qualified proposals that we received – explains the councilor for Budget and State Property Emmanuel Conte –, as was decided in the Council a year ago. For safety reasons, inspections are not possible in the areas, but we count on the possibility of selecting, among the different proposals, the best future for these places of our past. Today, unfortunately, they have no present, if not abandonment: through the tender we want them to return to being lived by the Milanese".
