Culture. Today the first meeting of the Scientific Committee of the "creativa 2020. The talents of women" program schedule

Milan, September 11 2019 – The first meeting of the Scientific Committee of the multidisciplinary program dedicated to the creativity and talents of women, already announced by the Councilor for Culture Filippo Del Corno as a cultural project for next year, took place today at Palazzo Reale.

The first act of the Scientific Committee was to identify the title of the schedule, "Creativa 2020. The talents of women", which was approved unanimously. At the same meeting, the timetable of the work of the Scientific Committee was also approved, which will meet on a monthly basis until the presentation of the program to the city next January, validating the proposals received from the operators (institutions, foundations, associations, schools, universities, businesses, media etc.). A direct call to all operators will in fact be sent by the staff of the Department of Culture, where a specific Operational Committee will meet for the organizational coordination of the schedule. Operators will be able to respond by filling out the form attached to the invitation email, also indicating how their proposal contributes to developing the themes and promoting the values ​​that the title of the program schedule suggests.

Like all the programs promoted in recent years by the Department of Culture on different themes - from "Milan and Leonardo 500" to "Novecento Italiano", from "American Autumn" to "Expoincittà" - also "Creativa 2020. The talents of women" it will be a multidisciplinary, inclusive project, spread across the territory, open all year round to new proposals to continuously enrich itself with new projects: an absolutely Milanese model that has allowed, and allows, to activate the many energies widespread in our city to allow an involvement as broad as possible, which gives rise to a public debate capable of building new awareness and new knowledge.

The scientific committee of the “Creativa 2020. The talents of women” program is made up of 3 internal members (Filippo Del Corno | Councilor for Culture, Diana De Marchi | President of the Equal Opportunities and Civil Rights Commission of the City Council, Daria Colombo | Delegate of the Mayor to gender equality) and eleven external members (Roberta Toniolo, Patrizia Zelioli, Alessia Mosca, Eliana Liotta, Carmen Leccardi, Barbara Mapelli, Paola Profeta, Randa Ghazy, Claudia Giordani, Tullia Norando, Laura Formenti). The councilors are permanently invited: Anna Scavuzzo | Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Security, Roberta Cocco | Councilor for digital transformation and civic services, Laura Galimberti | Councilor for education and instruction, Roberta Guaineri | Councilor for tourism, sport and quality of life, Cristina Tajani | Councilor for labor policies, production activities, trade and human resources.
