Culture. From 6 August entry permitted with green pass and identity document in museums, exhibitions and libraries

Milan, August 5 2021 – Pursuant to art. 3 of Legislative Decree no. 105 of 23 July 2021, starting from Friday 6 August at the entrance to "museums, other institutes and places of culture and exhibitions" it is necessary to show your valid identity document and the Covid-19 green certification (green pass ) which certifies one of the following conditions:

  • the inoculation of at least the first SARS-CoV-2 vaccine dose;
  • recovery from SARS-CoV-2 infection (valid for 6 months);
  • the negative result of a rapid molecular or antigen test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus (validity 48 hours).

The provisions do not apply to children under the age of 12 and to persons exempt on the basis of suitable medical certification. Further information on the site www.dgc.gov.it.

In all locations, access is limited, with the obligation to wear a mask and after measuring the temperature and sanitizing the hands, as required by law.

Reservations for entry to the civic museums (on https://museicivicimilano.vivaticket.it) to the exhibitions (online on the websites of each individual exhibition) remains recommended but not mandatory.

In the Library System offices it is always mandatory to make an appointment to access the shelf areas and study and reading stations. In some districts, based on public flows, an appointment may also be required to collect loans, while repayment is always free.
