Milan, January 3 2020 – With over 293 thousand visitors since its opening on May 16th, “Leonardo never seen”, the program of exhibitions and initiatives set up at the Sforzesco Castle to pay homage to the genius da Vinci on the five hundredth anniversary of his death, confirms its success by remaining on the podium between the most visited exhibitions in Italy.

To allow the Milanese and the increasingly numerous tourists present in the city to visit the exhibition and installations dedicated to Leonardo - like every first Sunday of each month until the scheduled closing on 19 April 2020 - the opening hours will be extended until 19.30pm (ticket office closes at 18.30pm) with entry reduced to 5 euros.

The ticket reduced to 5 euros also guarantees entry to all the Castle Museums, but the extension of the opening hours only concerns the Museum of Ancient Art which hosts the "Leonardo mai visto" exhibition. The opening hours to the public of the other museums remain unchanged, including the Museo della Pietà Rondanini, with the last possibility of access at 17pm. For more information milanocastello.it

At the GAM|Galleria d'Arte Moderna the ticket (reduced to 5 euros) allows you to visit, in addition to the permanent collections, also the exhibition “Canova. The ideal faces” (from 9:00 to 19:30, with the ticket office closing at 18:30). Info on gam-milano.com

On the occasion of "Sunday at the Museum", all the other civic museums will also remain open and free on Sunday 5 January: Museum of the Twentieth Century, Archaeological Museum, Museum of Natural History, Civic Aquarium, Museum of the Risorgimento, Palazzo Morando | Costume Fashion Image, Home Boschi di Stefano Museum and Studio Museo Francesco Messina.

The free ticket to the Museo del Novecento will allow you to visit, in addition to the permanent collection of the Museum, also the exhibition "Intelligence has no sex", a solo exhibition by Adriana Bisi Fabbri, set up in the Archives on the fourth floor of the Museum.
