Culture. From Thursday Palazzo Reale reopens with new days and times

Thursday from 11am to 00pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 22am to 30pm. It is possible to book up to one hour before the visit, respecting the capacity allowed in each time slot

Milan, 27 May 2020 – Palazzo Reale reopens to the public from tomorrow, Thursday 28 May, with new days and times, and new access methods aimed at protecting the safety of visitors and staff.

New days and times
The exhibitions reopen on Thursdays from 11.00 to 22.30, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00 to 19.30 (last entry one hour before closing). Also open June 2nd and August 15th from 11am to 19pm. The exhibitions will be closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Access mode
Reservation - even for free exhibitions or categories - is mandatory and tickets must be pre-purchased. The ticket offices are closed. It is possible to book up to one hour before the visit, as long as the capacity allowed in each time slot is respected. At the moment it is not possible to book visits for groups or schools.

Below are the details for the individual exhibitions:

  • with an extension until August 30th, it is once again possible to immerse yourself in the exhibition “Journey beyond darkness. Tutankhamun RealExperience”, inaugurated at Palazzo Reale on March 5th and then closed due to the health emergency. The audio guide is included in the ticket and available in sanitized and safe rental mode. For reservations;
  • the exhibition “Georges de La Tour: Europe of light” reopens with an extension until 27 September, thanks to the consent of the 28 lending museums who have agreed to extend the loan of the works, thus allowing it to be visited for another four months. The audio guide is included in the ticket in the form of an app that can be downloaded from the weekend of May 30th in the Apple and Google stores by entering the title of the exhibition;
  • the photographic exhibition “Roberto Cotroneo. In the theater of art", open to visitors until 26 July, with free entry and reservations required. For reservations.

It is recommended to show up at Palazzo Reale at the booked time, no more than 5 minutes early.

It is necessary to wear a mask and sanitize your hands with the sanitizing solutions present to access every area of ​​the Palace.

At the entrance your body temperature will be taken. If the value is equal to or higher than 37,5°C, access will not be permitted.
