Culture. Modern and contemporary art, the notice for the search for the director of the area has been published
Milan, March 3 2022 – The public notice seeking candidates to fill the position of director of the Modern and Contemporary Art Museums Area within the Culture Directorate has been published on the noticeboard.
The publication of the notice follows the reorganization of the entire Culture Department, which saw the merging within the Area of the following museums: Museo del Novecento, Gallery of Modern Art, Palazzo Morando, Boschi Di Stefano House Museum and Studio Francesco Messina museum. In this way, the artistic and cultural institutes of the Municipality of Milan which conserve and enhance nineteenth and twentieth century art collections were brought together.
The profile of the figure who will be responsible for the management of the five museums, as well as the project for the expansion of the Museo del Novecento to the second Arengario, is detailed in the notice published on the Municipality's website.
The application for participation must be submitted exclusively electronically through the public digital identity system (SPID) no later than 12pm on 28 March 2022.
