Coronavirus. Budget change to make the Municipality's mutual aid fund operational

Milan, March 27 2020 – The Council has approved a first change to the 2020-2022 budget forecast to make the "Mutual Aid Fund" launched by the Municipality of Milan to respond to the Coronavirus emergency operational. To follow up on the functioning of the Fund as soon as possible, the change provides for its inclusion in the Budget with full operation within the Mayor's Cabinet. All expenses will be promptly reported in order to make uses transparent.

"With the change we make the first allocations of the Emergency Fund operational, respecting budget balances and reporting income and expenses with maximum transparency – states Budget Councilor Roberto Tasca –. We trust in the great sense of solidarity and participation of the Milanese to continue to raise funds to be allocated to the most exposed groups of citizens and to those who are on the front line in these weeks of emergency".

At the end of the procedure, the electronic receipt will be sent to the email address indicated and will allow the application of the tax incentives provided for by the art. 66 of the Legislative Decree of 17 March 2020, n. 18.
