Milan, February 25 2020 – Guarantee the continuity of the services provided by the Municipality and at the same time reduce the possible opportunities for contagion and spread of the Covid-19 virus. This is the objective of the General Management's provision which provides for the possibility of access to smart working for all employees, compatibly with the regular performance of activities and services, until the end of the measures issued by the Ministry of Health in agreement with the Lombardy Region .  

The implementation of smart working was initially set up only for employees residing in the "red zone", consisting of the municipalities of Codogno, Castiglione D'Adda, Casalpusterlengo, Fombio, Maleo, Somaglia, Bertonico, Terranova dei Passerini, Castelgerundo and San Fiorano.    

The possibility now extends to all employees who wish to carry out their duties in smart working mode and who will be able to submit an application directly to their relevant Directors; the requests will be evaluated with a view to ensuring the continuity and regular functionality of the services by the institution, also through the rotation of the staff, leaving the counter services for citizens and normal administrative activity unchanged. 

Agile working is an approach to work organization based on a combination of flexibility, autonomy and collaboration that does not necessarily require the worker to be present at the workplace or in another predetermined location and allows him to manage his own time, ensuring compliance with the maximum limit of daily and weekly hours established by law and national collective agreements.
