160 thousand pieces donated to the Municipality, including sticker albums, markers, pencils, drawing paper and Didò

Milan, June 21 2020 - Albums and stickers, pencils, pens, markers, tempera and crayons, sharpeners and erasers, drawing paper and Didò: there are approximately 160.000 pieces that Pizzardi Editore and Fila have donated to the Municipality of Milan so that they can reach children and girls as a sign of closeness and attention, after the difficult period they went through.

“The most complicated phase of the emergency has ended and children were precisely one of the categories that suffered the most - comment the Deputy Mayor Anna Scavuzzo and the Councilor for Social Policies Gabriele Rabaiotti -. A donation like this is highly significant for us and is a clear signal of the attention that we want and must place, now more than ever, on our smallest citizens, even more so on those who find themselves in situations of great difficulty, such as children admitted to hospitals or living in communities".

In particular, Pizzardi Editore gave away 10.500 kits containing the “Amici puppytti” albums, with over a million packets of stickers (complete collections), a music CD and a poster. While Fila donated around 130 thousand pencils, markers, crayons and tempera, 14.700 Didò kits and 3.600 albums with smooth or rough paper for drawing.

The Municipality of Milan, through the Civil Protection, the Department of Social Policies, Milan Catering, the Department of Education, Metropolitan City and some voluntary organizations has allocated the material, once divided, to over 70 associations that deal of boys and girls, to the paediatrics of the hospitals and to those who will attend the summer sections of the Municipality's Children's Services.
