In particular, for pharmacies the measure is scheduled for the whole of 2021. The council's resolution will now be examined by the municipal council

Milan, 14 April 2021 – The resolution to extend the exemption from the payment of the fee for the occupation of public land (COSAP) and private areas for public use or public passage, for occupations requested by public and private entities authorized for the administration of vaccines against SARS-CoV-2.

In particular, for pharmacies the exemption is foreseen for the whole of 2021, the period identified by the Government for the experimentation of the administration of vaccines against SARS-CoV-2, on a voluntary basis, by trained pharmacists.

"Making the places in which to receive vaccines against the Coronavirus increasingly widespread in the city is fundamental, even more so as the massive phase of the vaccination campaign approaches – comment the deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo and the budget councilor Roberto Tasca –. Certainly large centers are important, but the spread of smaller and neighborhood spaces is equally important. Pharmacies are excellent allies, also due to the relationship of trust that binds citizens to their pharmacists: the Municipality is committed to promoting access to vaccines in any way, including by supporting operators, eliminating the burdens on them and facilitating procedures".

The resolution, which modifies the art. 31 of the Regulation for the establishment and regulation of the single property fee and the market concession fee - section 1, will now be examined by the municipal council.
