Coronavirus. The distribution of 5 masks and sanitizer to general practitioners and paediatricians of free choice will begin on Monday

Milan, March 21 2020 – Starting from Monday 23 March, 5 thousand KN95 FFP2 equivalent masks donated to the Municipality of Milan, which has decided to make them available to all general practitioners and Free Choice paediatricians operating in the city, will be able to be collected.

On Monday and Tuesday, between 11am and 17pm, each of them will be able to collect five masks and a 3-litre bottle of sanitizer (70,5° cosmetic denatured alcohol), donated by Branca, at the seven temporary hubs that the Municipality of Milan has set up, together with third sector associations, to deal with the emergency.

“We continue to work incessantly to collect offers and donations that come to us from the many cities, companies, associations, individual citizens, national and international communities who want to help us face this emergency. And let's redistribute what arrives to those who need it most in this period – comments deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo -. We do it through the services of 020202 and we do it through the hubs, first only with food for families in difficulty and, from Monday, also with masks for general practitioners and paediatricians, who are carrying out with a unique dedication a delicate and fundamental work alongside those who need care and comfort".

Information for general practitioners and free choice paediatricians operating in the city of Milan and the instructions for proceeding with the collection are on the website of the Order of Doctors of Milan at the address www.omceomi.it.
