Town Council. The consolidated financial statements for the 2020 financial year have been approved

Milan, November 8 2021 – During today's session, with 29 votes in favor and 9 against, the City Council approved the consolidated budget for the 2020 financial year. The consolidated balance sheet aims to represent the economic and financial situation of a group of companies; for this purpose, the balance sheet and income statement of the municipal body are aggregated with those of investee companies and entities. Thirteen are those that become part of the 2020 consolidated. The operating result of core business is positive for 54 million euros; while the net result, influenced by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, was negative for 101,8 million euros. The group's balance sheet (over 23 billion) and in particular the liquidity, which is equal to over 3,2 billion euros, testify to the solidity and robustness of the group's public accounts which, precisely during the long months of the health emergency , have made it possible to implement important support actions for citizens such as the postponement of some payments or the installments of license fees.
