Town Council. The 2020 budget change has been approved
Milan, 3 December 2020 – With 25 votes in favor and 14 against, the City Council approved the resolution to change the 2020 financial budget. The maneuver provides for lower current revenues for the Municipality of 740 million euros due to the Covid-19 health emergency and the measures taken by the Administration to address it. This is approximately 30 percent of the organisation's total current revenue.
The lower revenues were largely offset by Government transfers, together with the Municipality's own savings, coming from the budget surplus, from cutting current expenses and from the renegotiation of mortgages set up with CDP.
